Mervin Snibb is a jock and a bully. He is easily led and will obey any order Geraldine gives, no matter how ridiculous.
Mervin comes from a family that is famously, almost professionally, mean. His father, Morris Snibb, is the town’s Chief Postbox Inspector, who takes a gleeful pleasure in fining anyone whose postbox isn’t perfectly polished.
His mother, Maureen Snibb, is the Chief Doorbell Inspector, who happily fines anyone whose doorbell doesn’t ring with the correct, cheerful chime.

The family meanness doesn’t stop there. Mervin’s twin sisters, Cornelia and Godelia, work at the local post office, where everyone is
absolutely terrified of them. It’s no wonder Mervin inherited his arrogant, bullying nature – it’s in his DNA.
