She speaks in quiet, philosophical riddles, offering cryptic advice that makes no sense but somehow hints at a deeper lesson.
Her office is a calm refuge, filled with tranquil zen gardens and tinkling wind chimes that are constantly being disrupted by the mayhem outside.
The secret to her inner calm is her childhood. She grew up in a fantastically loud family with 18 siblings, and her mother was the reigning World Yelling Champion. One day, the family chartered a helicopter, but they were so noisy on the flight that the pilot, desperate for a moment of peace, deliberately landed it atop a huge avocado tree in the middle of a vast forest just so he could escape.
Trapped inside the small helicopter for six weeks with her deafening family and nothing to eat but avocados, young Impatience (as she was called) had a revelation. She realised that even in the middle of a chaotic situation, true peace could be found. She mastered the art of inner calm, a skill that now serves her well as the
principal of Left Nostril Elementary.
